- Simple or new concernsA recent injury or one clear issue? Book a 55-minute acupuncture session directly — assessment is included within the session — or start with the three-session plan for a short course.
- Fertility supportBook a 55-minute session or the three-session plan directly — no separate consultation is needed. Bring your test results and relevant records with you rather than sending them ahead; they are reviewed at the start of the appointment. Ordinary email is not a secure channel for medical records.
- Complex or long-term conditionsBook the 90-minute initial consultation & acupuncture — a full assessment and your first treatment in one visit. Prefer to assess before treating? Choose the 30-minute initial consultation.
- Insurance clientsAXA and Vitality (single condition) use the 30-minute insurance acupuncture appointment — email first so cover can be confirmed.
Your first visit
Assessment first. Then treatment built around you.
The intake
Your first appointment begins with an in-depth review of your health history, including pulse and abdominal diagnosis. Bring any relevant test results — they are discussed as part of the assessment. Simple or new concerns can book a 55-minute session directly; fertility clients email their results in advance and do the same; complex or long-term conditions start with the 90-minute combined appointment, or the 30-minute consultation for assessment only.
The treatment
Each plan is bespoke and may draw on several Chinese medicine therapies alongside acupuncture — moxibustion, gua sha, cupping and LED light are included where clinically appropriate, at no additional cost. Herbal remedies can be integrated with acupuncture where they strengthen the result.
If you are wary of needles
Non-invasive options are available, including laser acupuncture and Chizhen Japanese Toyohari acupuncture — gentle techniques suited to sensitive or needle-averse clients.
Finding the clinic
Acupuncture on Beauchamp Place, between Knightsbridge and Chelsea.
Appointments are at Roscop Practice, 33B Beauchamp Place, London SW3 1NU — a quiet street a few minutes from Harrods, and within walking distance of South Kensington, Sloane Street and Brompton Road.
Knightsbridge station is about five minutes on foot; South Kensington a little further. Look for the arched door with 33 beside it, a few steps up from the pavement. Ring the bell and you will be let in — please arrive a few minutes early for a first appointment.

Health insurance
Bupa Global (not Bupa UK) and WPA patients are accepted. AXA and Vitality are covered for a single condition via the insurance acupuncture appointment (30 minutes, £60). Please email hello@phoebustian.com before booking an insurance appointment, so cover can be confirmed in advance.
Changes and cancellations
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to change or cancel, using the link in your Cliniko confirmation email. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full and are non-refundable.
What to bring
Bring a list of current medicines and supplements, and any relevant reports or test results. Wear comfortable clothing where possible.
Urgent care
The clinic does not provide emergency medical care. For urgent or severe symptoms, contact NHS 111, your GP, or 999 in an emergency.
